I’m a Software Engineer who studied Informatics and Telecommunications at University of Peloponnese. From a young age, I was fascinated by technology and knew that this was the field I wanted to pursue. Being eager to learn and collaborate professionally, I’ve had the opportunity to work at two global companies, where I partnered with cross-functional teams and contributed to large-scale projects. So I have hands-on experience in developing, and maintaining software solutions across diverse domains. I’m a team player who values clear, respectful communication and believes that strong collaboration is key to success.
Both professionally and through personal projects, I’ve gained practical experience with Bash scripting, C++, C, and Java using the Spring Boot framework, along with front-end development using Angular.
I believe in continuous learning, teamwork, and using technology to build solutions that are both accessible and meaningful. I’m always open to connecting with fellow professionals to share ideas, collaborate, and push the boundaries of what technology can achieve.

Education

Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Peloponnese

Bachelor of Science
Team Project – Weather Data Aggregation
Developed a centralized weather database by building a scalable web scraping pipeline using Scrapy. Aggregated meteorological data from multiple online sources and stored it for analysis and retrieval.
Research Project – SIP Communication Modeling
Simulated and verified SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) node communications using PROMELA. Focused on concurrency and message-passing logic, with formal verification through the SPIN model checker.
Thesis – WeatherBot
Designed and developed WeatherBot, an AI-driven chatbot providing real-time weather forecasts and alerts. Integrated Natural Language Processing (NLP) for conversational interaction and automated updates from meteorological data sources to ensure accuracy.
Backend: Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL for managing user preferences. Integrated Keycloak (by Sodasence) for authentication and authorization. Weather sensor data is retrieved from a PostgreSQL database (pgAdmin) hosted by Sodasence.
Email Notifications: Implemented SMTP email service using Gmail's SMTP server via Spring Boot for sending real-time weather alerts to users.
Infrastructure: Entire application is containerized using Docker. Both frontend and backend services run as Docker containers on the server.
Frontend: Angular
